effort between Clive Bell, David Harrow, and Mirai recorded back in 2005

project is far from metal.

Mirai's contributes throat
singing to the release, something that was introduced on Sigh's 2005
Gallows Gallery album.
Right now, the album is an
internet-only release. The album can be downloaded from the following

The End Records will be releasing a

The remastering job was done by James
Murphy, who also performed that task on
Hangman's Hymn, which has been receiving critical
praise since its June release earlier this year.

Sigh has always been unsatisfied with the
original mastering job of the album, and is now pleased that the album
will finally be available for listening as originally intended.
The new version of the album will also be
released with upgraded artwork, and several bonus tracks and outtakes.
The album will be available in stores
everywhere November 27th, this year.
The track listing is as follows:
1. Pale Monument
2. In A Drowse
3. The Enlightment Day
4. Confession To Be Buried
5. The Tranquilizer Song
6. Midnight Sun
7. Silver Universe

New website
layout launched
AUGUST 9, 2007
|
|
|
It's been a few
months since there have been any updates here from the Slaughtergarden,
and for that I apologize. To make up for all of this silence, I have
rewarded everyone with a brand new website layout. Now the site is much
more in theme with Hangman's Hymn, while also taking the
Slaughtergarden in a more professional direction that a band like Sigh
deserves. I hope everyone likes it!
In addition to
the new layout, I am also proud to announce that the Slaughtergarden has
finally obtained its own domain name; Sighjapan.com! There should be no
problems in accessing the site from now on.
Now... with this
absence comes one piece of news that is already old if you have looked in
the right places. The new album from The Red Chord, Prey For Eyes,
is in stores now and features Mirai on one of its songs. From the Red
Chord, guitarist Gunface has contributed guest guitar solos on both
Hangman's Hymn and Gallows Gallery. Mirai returns the effort on an
instrumental entitled "It came from over there," which showcases Mirai's
keyboard capabilities in a vein similar to his previous efforts with
Necrophagia. I recommend that everyone interested find a means to hear the
song.
Purchase the album here.
The last thing I would like to touch on
would be the current issue regarding the forums here. About a month ago an
invitation-only system was activated to protect the boards from a constant
invasion of unwanted bots. Because this was not mentioned here on the main
site, it is more than likely that many of you who wished to register were
left confused when an invitation code was asked for during registration. I
am very sorry for this, and hope to have everyone who would like to
participate in the forums allowed in as soon as possible. To request an
invitation, please send an email to finalfanstasy@hotmail.com with the subject heading "Slaughtergarden Forum
Invitation Request" and I will respond. I apologize again for any
inconvenience.
I will be here
with any further news as soon as it arrives. |
